Healthcare Facilities and Hospitals in Las Vegas Region
Las Vegas HospitalsThe greater Las Vegas metropolitan area is growing rapidly, which is in turn generating the need to increase the overall quality of the healthcare. Las Vegas has responded to this need in recent years with the addition of several new facilities that offer unique medical specialties as well as a broad range of traditional medical care capabilities.

In calendar 2005/2006 alone approximately 21 healthcare facilities in the Las Vegas area either underwent an expansion or have plans to expand some time in the near future. At least four of these facilities have added or plan to add standalone towers to their existing facilities in the near future. Las Vegas has a total of 14 acute care hospitals, 4 hospices and several rehabilitation and specialty hospitals, satellite locations and quick care facilities – with over 2,000 hospital beds in all.
