North Las Vegas was incorporated in the mid 1940’s so that it could help to establish a separate identity from its more famous neighbor to the south, Las Vegas. North Las Vegas has over 140,000 residents and comprises an area of 80 square miles. A 30 year economic plan was launched in 1990 which has been producing results in the form of an increase in company’s relocating to North Las Vegas and beautification in the suburban areas.

North Las Vegas has experienced more than $79M in private investments and $28M in public investments. North Las Vegas is also experiencing a renaissance as a result of the Aliante, Centennial and the Eldorado community developments located in the area.

Aliante is located where the desert meets the foothills of the Sheep Mountain Range – it is a master planned community with approximately 1,200 acres dedicated to residential development and 100 acres set aside for commercial development, including shopping, dining and entertainment facilities.

Aliante has a championship 18 hole municipal golf course, several city parks and a beautiful 24 mile trail system which enables residents to reach major destinations within the community without crossing a major street of any kind. The community also incorporated a 20 acre Nature Discovery Park, with a man made lake and waterfall, water play area, outdoor stage and ramada, soccer fields, tennis courts and a volleyball stadium.

Centennial Village is another planned community located in North Las Vegas – located just minutes from the busy U.S. 95 in the northwestern Las Vegas metropolitan area. Centennial Village is in close proximity to brand new shopping centers, the Floyd Lamb State Park, Mount Charleston and the Lee Canyon Ski Resort and a number of public parks. Residential amenities are characterized by homes with 3-5 bedrooms and 2-3 car garages, with square footage averaging 1,600 to 2,700.

Eldorado is another master planned community in North Las Vegas and is has the singular distinction of being the first master planned community in this high growth region. It is 1,800 acres in size and in close proximity to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Floyd Lamb State Park.
