- How long have you been in business?
- How will you and/or your agency help me save money on my real estate investment and/or assist me in finding unique properties for investment?
- What differentiates your agency from your competitors in terms of unique services and experience for sophisticated investors? How can you help me establish a competitive advantage in my research and/or purchase of real estate investment property?
- Do you offer comprehensive 1031 Exchange Services?
- Does your agency provide commercial real estate investment services?
- Do you or the company that you are with practice dual agency?
- What percentage of your personal business and of your company’s business is representing investors?
- What clauses will you incorporate in our offer to protect me as a buyer?
- Does your agency have a support staff in place to back up your agents?
- Do you have information about For Sale by Owner properties and/or other unique sources for real estate investment properties?
- What is your best market analysis plan for me to give me some sense of the inventory of homes that fit my investment needs and how will your agency stay on top of changes in the market?
- Will you provide references?
- May I review any documents or contracts that I would sign with your agency prior to the actual signing process?
- How will you help me find other specialized vendors? And/or do you have a list of mortgage brokers, home inspectors, title companies and others that you work with on a regular basis?
- How much do you charge and are your fees negotiable?
- How well trained are your real estate agents to work with sophisticated investors and how long have they been with your firm on average?
- What is the actual percentage of sellers versus buyers that you work with?
- How technically savvy is your agency? If I want to stay in constant contact with my agent how is this possible?
- Do your recommend my hiring an attorney that specializes in real estate transactions for investment?
- Do you offer comprehensive property management services for investors?
- Does your agency give me any competitive edge when I am negotiating with the seller and/or relating to any aspect of my real estate transaction?
- How much of your business is from referred clients?
- Do you have experience working with executives and/or corporations who need comprehensive relocation services or real estate investment services?
- What haven’t I reviewed with you today that would be important to discuss?
- Can your agency assist me with setting up a LLC or Corporation in Nevada or elsewhere for real estate investment?
- Will your agency help me identify funding sources and then work with me to help me make a formal presentation?
- Does your agency work with investors to help an investor with project structure and positioning?
