Here is a list of questions to ask any Las Vegas Real Estate Agency that you are thinking of hiring to assist you with selling your Las Vegas property:

  1. How long has your Las Vegas real estate agency been in business?
  2.  What differentiates your agency from your competitors in terms of unique services and experience for sellers? I’d like to have at least 3-5 examples.
  3. What is your average list price to sales price ratio?
  4. What is your direct experience in listing homes in the Las Vegas real estate market?
  5. What unique marketing programs will you set up on my behalf other than just holding open houses?
  6. Do you have a written copy of your formal marketing plan that I can review outside of your office?
  7. How long does it take for your agency to sell a home on average?
  8. Will you provide references?
  9. How will your agency help me make more money on my Las Vegas real estate transaction?
  10. May I review any documents or contracts that I would sign with your agency prior to the actual signing process?
  11. How will you help me find other vendors? And/or do you have a list of mortgage brokers, home inspectors, title companies and others that you work with on a regular basis?
  12. How much do you charge and are your fees negotiable?
  13. How well trained are your real estate agents and how long have they been with your firm on average?
  14. How long have you personally been selling real estate and what professional organizations do you belong to?
  15. What is the actual percentage of sellers versus buyers that you work with?
  16. How technically savvy is your agency? If I want to stay in constant contact with my agent how is this possible?
  17. Do your recommend my hiring an attorney that specializes in real estate transactions?
  18. Does your agency give me any competitive edge when I am negotiating with the buyer and/or relating to any aspect of my real estate transaction?
  19. Will you review comparable prices for houses that have recently sold in my neighborhood to help me establish a listing price that fits my local market?
  20. How much of your business is from referred clients?
  21.  What type of a support staff does your agency have?
  22. What haven’t I reviewed with you today that would be important to discuss?
