We want to extend some virtual thanks to Wells Fargo for their recent Workshop hosted here in Las Vegas last Friday to help struggling homeowners. From what we have read and heard the Workshop was well received in the community.
Wells Fargo Workshop Background
Wells Fargo sent out approximately 5K letters to some of their customers who have been in arrears for at least 60 days and/or who may have asked them for assistance. The bank requested that these homeowners meet with them during the workshop 1-1 to help them come up with a solution to their problems.
Over 500 appointments were set up last week-end. Some of these reflected customers who did not receive letters, but heard about the Workshop and showed up. Approximately two thirds of the homeowners who showed up did receive some type of loan modification from Wells Fargo.
This workshop was one of eleven that Wells Fargo has held around the United States the last few months. We want to applaud Wells Fargo for their support of our local community and others around the US.
