We hope you remember Peter Finch who won the posthumous Academy Award for his starring role in “Network” – his most famous line was “I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it anymore.”
We think this dovetails well with our present economic situation as it relates to small businesses here in Las Vegas and around the country!
If you look at the Federal Government’s multi-tiered gazillion dollar rescue plan there is less than 1% for small businesses, which are the lifeblood of our economy. In the last 20 years companies with less than 100 employees have generated 90% of the economic growth in our country.
So, we hope you will think of Peter Finch as you read these words and fire off an inspired email to your local congresswoman or senator and let them know the Obama Administration needs to think about small businesses and not just the firms that can afford to hire lobbyists.
