Nevada is serious about diversifying our business economy to recruit and embrace more solar companies. Our State Office of Energy opened bids last month for over fifteen sites around the state that will be converted to all solar energy. The state is intent on not only recruiting solar companies, but reducing costs, by converting to solar energy as an example for all.
It’s not just the state that is concentrating on moving into solar energy in a big way. Earlier this week, Amonix, Inc. a California based company announced it is opening a new manufacturing facility and will immediately start hiring 278 full time employees.
We expect to see other companies either relocating their headquarters to Las Vegas or opening up manufacturing facilities here, to take advantage of all the amenities Las Vegas has to offer the company and its employees. This is good for our local Las Vegas Real Estate Market and our overall economy.
